Former Chelsea defender and current Brighton and Hove Albion defender is reportedly set to switch his nationality to Ghana ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
Tariq Lamptey who is a versatile defender was seen watching the Black Stars qualifying game against Sierra Leone on Sunday, June 5th, 2022. According to reports, the defender is keen on playing at the Qatar 2022 World Cup and does not seem to have a spot on the te because of players like Reece James, Trent Alexander-Arnold and Kieran Trippier.
The defender has strong offensive and defensive skills whenever he gets on the pitch. He was in fantastic form for Chelsea Football Club but he was sold to Brighton where he continued to show his excellent skill.
