Johnny Depp has appeared on stage alongside Jeff Beck in the UK for the second night in a row, as he puts his defamation trial with ex-wife Amber Heard to the back of his mind.
After the 58-year-old Pirates of the Caribbean star appeared with Jeff on Sunday at Sheffield City Hall, there was hope among fans that the actor will repeat the performance at the Royal Albert Hall in west London.
Johnny didn’t disappoint as he returned to the stage to perform a cover of the John Lennon song Isolation, which he previously released in 2020 with Jeff – it was the same song that they played together on Sunday in Yorkshire.
Many clips of them playing together were circulated on social media on Monday and this had boosted expectation of a repeat when Jeff played in London.
Johnny’s appearance in the UK has surprised many as he awaits a verdict in his multimillion-dollar defamation lawsuit with his ex-wife Amber Heard.
The Pirates Of The Caribbean actor is suing his former partner over a 2018 article she wrote in the Washington Post, which was titled: “I spoke up against sexual violence – and faced our culture’s wrath. That has to change.”
